Fresh products, like cheese or cured meat are shipped on Monday and Tuesday in order to avoid holds over the weekend.
All our fresh products such cheese and cured meats are seasoned or well aged, so they do not need to travel at 0°-4°. In any case to add extra security we will be ship them in an isothermic bag with dry ice inside in order to preserve the freshness of the product.
For bottled products such as honey, olive oil or balsamic vinegar they are wrapped in pluriball and the box will be filled with polystyrene or paper in order to avoid any problems during the handling.
Delivery fees are calculated by producer: Standard delivery for UK is £11.9, for each producer.

No we don't. Something that was unthinkable until few years ago, with modern packaging technology and always more reliable couriers we can operate without awarehouse. The absence of middlemen and intermediary aims also to buy a product at a fair price for the customer and for the producer to be paid accordingly, without being ripped off by selling in bulk like it happens with the large distribution.
Unfortunately due to Brexit we prefer not to ship to Europe at the moment. We are looking forward to do it as soon as possible.
At Caglio we don't want to sell only Italian products, but we want also to give the opportunity to small scale Italian producers to sell abroad without relying on large distributors that usually push hard on prices or sell products that are lower on quality.
What you will get is the same product that Italian locals eat at their home. So, no fake or fancy Italian names
If you discover that there's something wrong with the product after opening it, such as a fault, damage or it's not as described, let us know within 7 days from reception and we you will be entitled to get a refund.
The products must be returned intact, be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
